CHICAGO – MTV.com reported today that during the 2009 Video Music Awards that “Twilight” stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will appear on the show to debut an exclusive trailer for “New Moon” with fresh new footage.
The movie’s first trailer premiered during the MTV Movie Awards and now they’re giving the devoted Twilighters are in for a special treat with the new footage in the extended trailer. On the same day as the show, MTV.com is debuting the first single off the “New Moon” soundtrack, “Meet Me On The Equinox” by Death Cab For Cutie. The soundtrack drops October 20 while “New Moon” hits theaters on November 20.
Beyonce, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, Green Day, Pink, Muse and Taylor Swift are set to perform live and Katy Perry, Nelly Furtado, Leighton Meester, Chace Crawford, Ne-Yo and Miranda Cosgrove are listed as presenters at the awards show on September 13, 2009 at 8PM ET.
