The CW Fall 2009 Premiere Dates Including ‘90210,’ ‘Melrose Place,’ ‘Gossip Girl,’ More

CHICAGO – The CW has announced their fall premiere dates and the season kicks off with two of the most anticipated premieres, the return of the second season of “90210” and the premiere of “Melrose Place,” both on Tuesday, September 8th. Including “Melrose,” the network has three new programs for fall 2009 (the other two are “The Beautiful Life” and “The Vampire Diaries”).

The night after “90210” and “Melrose Place,” Tyra Banks returns on Wednesday, September 9th for a two-hour premiere of “America’s Next Top Model”. A week later, “ANTM” goes down to normal size and “The Beautiful Life” with Mischa Barton” premieres in the 8pm CST timeslot.

Thursday, September 10th brings the premiere of the highly anticipated “The Vampire Diaries” at 7pm CST followed by the fifth season premiere of “Supernatural”. Based on the best-selling books, “The Vampire Diaries” hopes to be a part of the vampire craze of 2009 that has included “True Blood” and “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”.

Monday, September 14th closes out The CW week of premieres with two favorites, “One Tree Hill” and “Gossip Girl”.

Finally, “Smallville” returns but on a new night, Friday, September 25th, at 7pm CST.
