both

in my humble opinion,it is both. the story started with sam witwicky’s grandfather’s exploration. it wasn’t about the journey but the eyeglasses which held the key to an equation that both the autobots and decepticons are after. that’s definitley geeky. then when the machines came to life and chaos ensues, but everyone came on board to defeat the decepticons, that’s uber chic.
