‘Watchmen: The Complete Motion Comic’ Coming to Blu-Ray in March 2009

CHICAGO – Warner Brothers made an announcement today and released the cover art for an exciting new tie-in with the upcoming March 6th release of the highly anticipated “Watchmen”. The studio will release “Watchmen: The Complete Motion Comic” on Blu-Ray on March 3rd, 2009.

To tie in with the release of the Zack Snyder adaptation of the Alan Moore masterpiece, one of the best graphic novels ever made, Warner Brothers will make it easy to see where it all began in Blu-Ray form. The adaptation stars Matthew Goode, Malin Akerman, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Patrick Wilson, Carla Gugino, Billy Crudup, and Jackie Earle Haley.

See the original “Watchmen” with the digital version of the most celebrated graphic novel of all time. The illustrator of “Watchmen,” Dave Gibbons, oversaw the entire process, one that adds limited motion, voice, and sound to the original panels. All twelve chapters of the story are included in almost five hours of material.

“Watchmen: The Complete Motion Comic” will be available for an MSRP of $35.99 on March 3, 2009.
