The All-Star cast includes Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Cynthia Erivo, Jacki Weaver, Robert Duvall and Liam Neeson, and director Steve McQueen continues his reputation for delivering unusual, in-depth and quality content. The movie was filmed in Chicago, and was adapted for the screen (with McQueen) by author Gillian Flynn (“Gone Girl”).

The CineYouth “Best of the Fest” are showcase short films from the CineYouth Festival that takes place during the year, by the Cinema/Chicago, the same organization that showcases the international festival. Saturday night is also a big “after party” night so keep your ears open to locations.

In all those permutations, producer Stephanie Buxbaum has experienced it all, and has the career and stories to prove it.

  • Deadbeat2

CHICAGO – Not many web series start out as music videos, but the new online (YouTube) drama “Deadbeat 2” was just that. Created, written and directed by Danny Froze, the made-in-Chicago story recently premiered episodes five and six in the series, which features actor Kiwaun Stoutmire in the lead role of Ronnie.
