CHICAGO – HollywoodChicago.com presents our video coverage of the pre-Broadway premiere of the new musical “On Your Feet!” from Gloria Estefan and Emilio Estefan on June 17, 2015 at the Oriental Theatre in Chicago.

We interview Oscar-winning “Birdman” writer Alexander Dinelaris, who wrote the “On Your Feet!” book and “The Bodyguard Musical,” about the Estefan’s new musical as well as about “Birdman”. We also interview “On Your Feet!” director Jerry Mitchell (Tony Award-winning director of “Kinky Boots” and “Hairspray”) and “On Your Feet!” choreographer Sergio Trujillo (Olivier Award-winning choreographer of “Jersey Boys” and “Memphis”). “On Your Feet!” will open on Broadway on Nov. 5, 2015 with preview performances beginning on Oct. 5, 2015 at the Marquis Theatre in New York City. Ana Villafañe makes her Broadway debut as Gloria Estefan opposite Josh Segarra as Emilio Estefan.
