CHICAGO – Reality TV star Lauren Conrad turns 28 years old on February 1st. Best known for the MTV reality series, “The Hills,” Conrad recently wrote a book called “Infamous,” and was photographed for HollywoodChicago.com, during a promotional appearance at Anderson’s Bookshop in Naperville, Ill., in June of 2013

Ms. Conrad lived her life on television for close to five years. She began with the MTV reality series, “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange Country” in 2004, which led directly into “The Hills” in 2006. The latter show focused on Conrad, her housemate Heidi Montag, and their friends Audrina Partridge and Whitney Port. Through it all, Conrad’s main pursuit was in the fashion industry. She left the show after the fifth season, amid friendship break-up and reconciliation stories between her and Montag. The prolific Ms. Conrad has written both fiction and style manuals, publishing eight books in all. Her latest novel, “Infamous,” was released last summer.

Photographer Joe Arce of HollywoodChicago.com took this Exclusive Portrait during Lauren Conrad’s book appearance at Anderson’s Bookshop last June.
