CHICAGO – In advance of next week’s official Fall schedule announcement, ABC gave a vote of confidence to seven of their biggest shows, revealing that they will be a part of the 2012-2013 schedule. The lucky seven include three freshman series — “Once Upon a Time,” “Revenge,” and “Suburgatory” — along with “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Castle,” “Modern Family,” and “The Middle.”

As detailed in our TV schedule prediction feature, none of these renewals were surprising. In fact, it’s almost more interesting to consider what has yet to be announced. What will happen to “Scandal”? Is “Body of Proof” really done? Should the cast of “Happy Endings” find new jobs? Stay tuned to HC next week for all the fall schedule news.
