CHICAGO – Good news, TV fans. NBC has made official several of their on-the-bubble shows, renewing “Community,” “30 Rock,” and “Parenthood.” The good news is a bit tempered though as “30 Rock” has been cleared for only 13 episodes and most are assuming its a final season. “Community” also only has a commitment of 13 episodes but it’s unclear if that means this is it for the Greendale gang or if they’re just being conservative and leaving it open for a possible mid-season cancellation. “Parenthood” has been granted 15 episodes.

What does this leave for NBC? They renewed “Law & Order: SVU” earlier this week, leaving “Up All Night” and “Whitney” as the biggest question marks on the schedule. “Harry’s Law” is still up in the air but most consider it likely to be cancelled. Same with “Are You There, Chelsea,” “Bent,” and “Awake.”

Will “30 Rock” start in the Fall or mid-season? Will “Community” come back in the same time slot? Where’s “Parenthood” going to land? Tune in to HollywoodChicago.com next week for ALL the Fall schedule announcements.
