Edge of life
Metaphorically speaking, I think everyone has their own “edge” of life and in some form most have come close to it. Personally, I had a rough patch during the summer of 2008 when I was in a transitional phase professionally. Things looked a little bleak but they turned around. That time period was when I was closest to my “edge” of life.
Honestly.......
I can’t say that I have. I am a very safe, straight and narrow person but I am surrounded by people who stay on the edge of life and they always amaze me. Danger is sometimes involved and its always too risky for me.
Teetering on the edge of life?
I don’t think so.

Thank goodness, no. There’s been a few ups and downs, but I’m a very optimistic person. I have better luck staying afloat than some. But, I’m sure, under the right circumstances, it could happen.
Edge of Life
Thankfully, I’ve never teetered on the edge of life either metaphorically or actually. Maybe when I hit my mid-life crisis in 20 years.
