Film News: New ‘Beauty and the Beast 3D’ Trailer Released

CHICAGO – The newest trailer of a tale as old as time has been released inviting you to see one of Disney’s most classic films on the big screen again…and this time in 3D. “Beauty and the Beast 3D,” a remastered version of the classic film brought to you in three dimensions, will release to theaters everywhere on Jan. 13, 2012.

The original “Beauty and the Beast” is one of only three animated films ever to be nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award, and the only one to be nominated when there were only five nominated films (“Up” and “Toy Story 3” were nominated the last two years when there were ten nominees).

“Beauty and the Beast” is the second film to be brought back to theaters from Disney (“The Lion King”) and will be followed by “Finding Nemo,” “Monsters Inc.,” and “The Little Mermaid” later in the next two years. If you haven’t had a chance to see the trailer, you can view it here:
