In celebration of its 30th anniversary, the Music Box presents a digitally restored edition of “Raiders of the Lost Ark”: Steven Spielberg’s action-packed and adventure-filled homage to the Saturday matinee cliffhanger serials of his childhood.

UM Yes.
As an 8 year old girl I would run around my backyard and pretend to be him. I wanted nothing more than to go on his adventures.

Dr. Jones

Of course he’s the ultimate adventurer. Mostly because of the hat. It’s all about the hat. You know this.

Yes but mostly no

Ther’s one way in which he fails in this movie. At the very end, after dening the power of God, having seen the power of God we don’t see him change. I mean, wouldn’t that change you? Wouldn’t you at least have some thoughts / feelings about that. That part always disappointments me. Other than that: Swing Away!

Absolutely true!

Women fell in love with him, and men wanted to be him! Running around the world, battling the forces of evil, Indiana Jones is definitely the ultimate cinematic adventurer! And who could forget the stirring music?

TRUE!

All you really have to do is look at the countless films, TV series, books and comics that came after “Raiders” to see the impact Indiana Jones had on pop culture. He is an adventurer, sure, but primarily because as a archealogy professor, it comes with the job. His weaknesses and excitement for his pursuits make him relatable and easy to get behind. He’s not in it for the money or for babes, he simply wants that artifact that “belongs in a museum.” Indiana Jones is often in over his head, gets beaten up and is usually outnumbered, which makes him all the more enjoyable to follow. - David J. Fowlie

Well..

There was that other fella Han Solo, but he had some sort of gambling addiction. So, yes I would say true!

Indiana Jones

Indy is the ultimate cinematic adventurer because “it’s not the years, honey, it’s the mileage.”

Indy is the ultimate cinematic crusader because “it’s not the years, honey, it’s the mileage.”
