CHICAGONBC announced their mid-season schedule today and fans of one of the best comedies on television will notice that “Community” is not on it. Now, don’t panic yet. “Awake,” a drama that I’m sure will air eventually, was not on it either and it sure will be someday. Let’s just hope “Community” finds its way back soon.

In better news, NBC annonced the premiere dates for four new shows — “Smash,” “The Firm,” “Fashion Star,” and “Are You There, Chelsea.” They also announced return dates and times for “The Voice,” “30 Rock,” “The Celebrity Apprentice.” and “Who Do You Think You Are?” Finally, “Whitney,” “Up All Night,” “Rock Center with Brian Williams,” and “Harry’s Law” will shift nights of the week. Finally, it looks like “Prime Suspect” is gone. Anyone else think this network is stable?
