CHICAGO – This week marked Caroline Kennedy’s release of “Jacqueline Kennedy: Historic Conversations on Life With John F. Kennedy”. It’s an eight-CD collection of interviews in 1964 that Caroline’s mother, Jacqueline, made shortly after the assassination of her father, U.S. President John F. Kennedy.

Caroline is the oldest of two children who lived in the White House during the administration of John F. Kennedy. Her brother, John Jr., died in a plane crash in 1999. Caroline’s mother, Jacqueline, was arguably one of the most famous women in the world in her era. Jacqueline passed away in 1994. Jacqueline sat down with Caroline for these interviews with the promise that they would only be release after Jacqueline’s death.

In association with the release of the book and CDs, ABC TV broadcast a special called “Jacqueline Kennedy: In Her Own Words” last Tuesday. HollywoodChicago.com photographer Joe Arce captured an exclusive portrait of Caroline Kennedy in April 2011 during her Chicago-area appearance at Barnes & Noble Old Orchard in Skokie, Ill. At the time, she was promoting her anthology called “She Walks in Beauty: A Woman’s Journey Through Poems”.
