CHICAGO – Rumors are flying around the internet about the new cast of the ABC reality series “Dancing with the Stars.” While the official announcement of the cast will come tonight at 7 p.m. central during the commercial breaks for the show “Bachelor Pad,” some people just can’t wait to find out which celebrities will be slipping on ballroom shoes.

The first bit of rumor for the season 13 cast came this morning from the “Dancing with the Stars” themed twitter account @DWTSGossip who tweeted “Here are your celebs: nancy grace, kristin cavalleri, riki lake, chynna phillips, hope solis, elizabetta canalis. david arquette, rob kardashian, ryan oneal, Jr. martinez, chaz bono, ron artest.” For the record, “hope solis” is most likely referring to Hope Solo, the U.S. women’s soccer team’s goal keeper.

ABC had expressed interest in finding more A-list celebrities to the show, but this group doesn’t really achieve that. The women are made up of a screaming television journalist, a former “Laguna Beach” star, a daytime talk show host, a singer from Wilson Phillips, a soccer goalie, and George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend. The men include a washed up actor, the brother of a trio of reality star sisters, a nighttime soap opera star, an “All My Children” actor, Sonny and Cher’s son (or should we say daughter), and a basketball player who is legally changing his name to Metta World Peace.

Meanwhile, TMZ has reported that some better known women are supposed to be hitting the dance floor this season. They claim that Queen Latifah, Jersey Shore’s Snooki, and “90210”/”Saved by the Bell” star Tiffani Thiessen will be among the women of Season 13.

The rumors continue to swirl on the web, but the truth will not be fully known until tonight. Judging by the rumors that are floating around, however, it doesn’t look like ABC was able to lock down many A-listers for the show’s thirteenth season. The announcements will be made live by hosts Tom Bergeron and Brooke Burke during the commercial breaks of “Bachelor Pad” tonight.
