Video: Official ‘Paranormal Activity 3’ Trailer Released; Film Slated For Oct. 21, 2011

CHICAGO – The official trailer for “Paranormal Activity 3” has just been released! The third film in the series, which is directed by Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman from writers Michael R. Perry and Oren Peli, is scheduled to hit theaters on Oct. 21, 2011. The film is currently in pre-production and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures. Watch the trailer now below!

“Paranormal Activity,” which was released on Sept. 25, 2009, has earned an astounding global box-office gross of $193 million on the tiny production budget of $15,000. “Paranormal Activity 2,” which was released on Oct. 22, 2010, has earned a global box-office gross of $176 million on a $3 million production budget.
