Here is the plot description for “X-Men First Class”:

“X-Men First Class” brings together the epic scale and action of a summer blockbuster. This is a character-driven story that unveils the beginning of the “X-Men” saga, a secret history of the Cold War and our world at the brink of nuclear Armageddon.

As the first class discovers, harnesses and comes to terms with their formidable powers, alliances are formed that will shape the eternal war between the heroes and villains of the “X-Men” universe. Like all great “X-Men” stories, “X-Men First Class” takes on ambitious themes and issues while offering a rich and personal look at an unusual superhero team.

The film is set in the 1960s, which is the dawn of the Space Age and a time filled with the hope of JFK’s Camelot. But it was also the height of the Cold War – when escalating tensions between the U.S. and the Soviet Union threatened the entire planet – and when the world discovered the existence of mutants.

X-MEN CHARACTER

I would like to be Professor X. There has always been some intrigue in the ways that his powers work. He has the ability to control things with his mind yet he shows great restraint and sound judgement in using his powers. He is truly devoted into helping those that are struggling with being mutants. He knows how to cater to the needs of others in a way that still makes each mutant not feel alienated. I say that his great power is the fact that he knows the correct situations of when to use his power. He is the ultimate model of self control and every other X-men character looks to him for guidance. To be the leader of the X-men would be an awesome job to have.

Which one?

I would be storm, which was played by Halle Berry. Because we’re experiencing such severe weather now, you can see that weather is a powerful element.

Which X-Men character would you like to be and why?

My choice would be Jean Grey because of the maturity and responsibility that comes with her powers. I would work with the Professor when transitioning into the Phoenix for a more positive outcome. My ability to forgive his intrusion of the mind blocks would provide more balance. Due to the areas of opportunity to overcome the darkside weighs heavy on my choice for Jean.

I would be Wolverine because of the ability to heal. I’m always getting hurt on the job so that would come in pretty handy for me.
