Here is the plot description for “Submarine”:

Fifteen-year-old Oliver Tate has two big ambitions: to save his parents’ marriage via carefully plotted intervention and to lose his virginity before his next birthday. Worried that his mom is having an affair with New Age weirdo Graham, Oliver monitors his parents’ sex life by charting the dimmer switch in their bedroom. He also forges suggestive love letters from his mom to dad.

Meanwhile, Oliver attempts to woo his classmate, Jordana. She’s a self-professed pyromaniac who supervises his journal writing (especially the bits about her). When necessary, she orders him to cross things out. Based on Joe Dunthorne’s acclaimed novel, “Submarine” is a captivating, coming-of-age story with an offbeat edge.

Best way to get a guy to like you

The best way to get a guy to like you is to be interested in his life and care about what he says.

The best way

The best way to get a guy or girl to like you is to be friendly and pleasing to the eye. No one will like you if you’re mean/bitchy and an attractive person definitely helps any situation.

I would say that you have to

I would say that you have to find out what interests them and make sure to spotlight that when you run into them but It should not be fake….It is simply an icebreaker.

Don’t ever let them see how infatuated you are. You need to remain mysterious to keep them interested.

be yourself around

be yourself around her…Think as if they are just your friend that just looks different, yet don’t treat her as you normally treat a friend.

Stop acting like you’re

Stop acting like you’re “just a friend” for too long or that’s exactly what you’ll always be.

dress the part…If you’re

dress the part…If you’re wearing solid colored t-shirts that you bought from Walmart that don’t even fit you, old worn out shoes that you mowed the lawn in 100 times, then you’re a total turn-off. Instead, maybe go with something like, a nice pair of Brand name shoes and some formfitting (but not too formfitting!) rustic pair of jeans, and a and a good brand shirt
