My most unusual wedding mishap

I’ve been to many wedding, but in one year I caught 3 bouquets and still not married and at one wedding I was pushed and went flying across the dance floor with my dress up…so embarrasing but I had the bouquet, never again.

The wardrobe changes

I know it is not uncommon for a bride and groom to change from their wedding attire to party outfits.
But I attended a wedding where the couple had 4 wardrobe changes.
They changed clothes to match their wedding bands.
There was a gospel choir, jazz band, ethnic band and top 40 band.
The outfits were better than the music.

unusual

I was in my sisters wedding which was quaint (also beautiful)
and things were going wonderful and as planned. No surprises
until the grooms out of town brother was making the announcement
of the wedding party at the reception and he very noticeably stuttered over
the maid of honors name(that would have been me) and when I entered
I recognized him as the (sex) buddy that saved a boring cruise the spring
before the wedding, shocker right? so was his wife and 2 children.

My wedding in Mexico

Years ago, I got married at City Hall in Acapulco Mexico. Since I don’t speak Spanish, every time the justice of the peace paused, I said “Si”. He finally turned to me and said “Comprende?” and of course I said “Si”.

What’s your most unusual wedding story?

I went to a wedding and everything was rushed. May not seem like a big issue, but the problems were that most of the people spoke Russian, a few people barely understood them and the majority of us had to wait for hand signals. In addition, the music was extremely loud, the food was cold, the couple let out 100 doves in an effort to be ‘infinite’ and…the cheapo valet company lost the tags for everyones cars so we were scrambling to figure out if we had the correct keys. Everyone who came to the reception, which was across town (and much lower number of us than were at the wedding) had to dine on cold food—because we were all late. I struggled through it as it was a colleague I work with, but it was unusual, awful in fact, but now it’s comical.

Unusual Wedding Story

When one of my friends married, I was in her wedding. Most of the
bridesmaids were from out of town and had to send in their measurements for the dresses, which were being made by a local bridal company. Apparently, one bridesmaid sent in the measurements she wished she had instead of her real measurements. The seamstress made a few mistakes also, so a couple of hours before the wedding, the dresses had to be fixed. She had to add a complete panel to one of the dresses so it would fit. The arms on my dress were too long, and the length was too short on another person’s dress. We had to rip out and exchange parts of the dress as well as fix the hems before we could wear them. The couple ended up getting divorced.

Unusual Wedding

My unusual wedding story is my own! After being a couple since highschool, someone asked me one day, “When are you two going to get married?” Not really thinking, I responded June 12th 1980. Well time passed and we were still a couple but didn’t really think about a wedding date. Well less than a week before June 12th 1980, we realized we could actually pull it off.We were married in the same church as my Mother & Father and only had from Saturday night til the following Thursday, June 12th, to plan and have a wedding! Unfortunately thr really unusual part is that we’re still together and will be celebrating out 31st anniversary this June. I say this because there is not a lot of longevity in relationships nowadays.

When my cousin tossed the bouquet it hit a newborn in the face! Everyone ran to make sure the baby was ok, my cousin felt horrible and cried for the rest of the reception….
