Here is the plot description for “Sanctum”:

The 3-D action/thriller “Sanctum” from executive producer James Cameron follows a team of underwater cave divers on a treacherous expedition to the largest, most beautiful and least accessible cave system on Earth. When a tropical storm forces them deep into the caverns, they must fight raging water, deadly terrain and creeping panic as they search for an unknown escape route to the sea.

Master diver Frank McGuire (Richard Roxburgh) has explored the South Pacific’s Esa-ala Caves for months. But when his exit is cut off in a flash flood, Frank’s team – including 17-year-old son, Josh (Rhys Wakefield), and financier Carl Hurley (Ioan Gruffudd) – are forced to radically alter their plans. With dwindling supplies, the crew must navigate an underwater labyrinth to make it out. Soon, they are confronted with the unavoidable question: Can they survive or will they be trapped forever?

Shot on location off the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia, “Sanctum” employs 3-D photography techniques Cameron developed to lens “Avatar”. Designed to operate in extreme environments, the technology used to shoot the action/thriller will bring audiences on a breathless journey across plunging cliffs and into the furthest reaches of our subterranean world.

Is There a Limit to Survive?

I would not leave my children, so yes, I would go to great lengths to survive.

live or die

No. Well if I was stuck on an island like in lost I would first think protect yourself.Keeping yourself healthy and alive are your two main concerns while on the island. To stay both healthy and alive, you’ll need to do a number of things.First, the odds are that if you are stuck on some desert island that the sun is absolutely baking you. So you need to protect yourself from the sun. If you get sun burnt (and, on this island, it would be a very bad burn) you will not be able to do the tasks required to stay alive.

choose life

Obviously I would do anything. In a survival situation, you need to stay out of the way of any harmful animals or critters. Until you learn more about the island, stay on guard for anything that might stalk you. This means looking out for large animals (if there are any), critters on the ground or any type of flying bug that might bite you. Your body’s reaction after an encounter with a wild beast could be really bad and render you practically useless.

Sanctum

No limit, as long as no one else is hurt.

Never say never? I can...

I wouldn’t be able to remove my own limbs to survive, among many other things

survival of the fittest

I wouldnt say I would do anything to survive but I would see if there was any drinkable water. If there was, then I would be set for two weeks. Then I would have to find food. Coconuts are a good source of food and water. Small animals, birds, rodents and more would be good also but I would have to make some sort of bow and arrow, or a spear using a stick and a sharp rock. Shelter would be easy, just build a fort out of sticks or rocks or find a cave type location. So, that’s it. I’ve got food, shelter, water, and if I need to cook my food I know how to start a fire so there you go.

What is the limit?

I don’t think there is a limit to what I would do to survive. You do what you have to, to survive. You don’t really have a choice in a life or death situation.
