CHICAGO – Rick Springfield, the essential 1980s personality rocker, is serving up his life in a new memoir, “Late Late at Night.” He was in the Chicago area recently greeting admirers and signing his new book at Anderson’s Bookshop in Naperville, Ill.

Springfield, the Grammy Award-winning musician, songwriter, actor and now author, is best remembered for his string of hits in the 1980s MTV era, including “Jessie’s Girl.” Joe Arce of HollywoodChicago.com captured this Exclusive Portrait while a film crew was shooting a documentary about Springfield called “An Affair of the Heart,” slated for released in 2011.
