Here is the plot description for “Client 9: The Rise and Fall of Eliot Spitzer”:

This documentary feature takes an in-depth look at the rapid rise and dramatic fall of New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer. Nicknamed “The Sheriff of Wall Street,” when he was New York’s attorney general Spitzer prosecuted crimes by America’s largest financial institutions and some of the most powerful executives in the country.

After his election as governor with the largest margin in the state’s history, many believed Spitzer was on his way to becoming the nation’s first Jewish president. Then, Spitzer’s meteoric rise turned into a precipitous fall when the New York Times revealed that Spitzer – the paragon of rectitude – had been caught seeing prostitutes.

As his powerful enemies gloated, his supporters questioned the timing of it all. As the sheriff fell, so did the financial markets in a cataclysm that threatened to unravel the global economy. With unique access to the escort world as well as friends, colleagues and enemies of the ex-governor (many of whom have come forward for the first time), the film explores the hidden contours of this tale of hubris, sex and power.

Is there such a thing as an honest politician?

Yes. I worked for one as his campaign accountant for three elections. They are few and far between but they do exist!

Perhaps.

There are quite a few “bad apples” in politics who are more interested in gaining money in their pockets, but there are some that do try to make a difference. Some try to be honest.

Yes

There are different levels of honesty, though.

Honest Politicians

Is there such a thing as an honest Politician? Of course there is. There are a lot of honest politicians. I believe Pres. Obama is an honest politician. I believe Al Francken is honest. The operative word should be “slick”….In order to be a politicians you have to be very suave, savvy, smart and slick.

Honest Politicians

Yes, there are honest politcians but in Washington it’s a all a numbers game. In order to get things done, you need people to vote in favor of it which means compromising your position sometimes.
