Here is the plot description for “Conviction”:

“Conviction” is the inspirational true story of a sister’s unwavering devotion to her brother. When Betty Anne Waters’ (two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank) older brother, Kenny (Sam Rockwell), is arrested for murder and sentenced to life in 1983, Betty Anne (a Massachusetts wife and mother of two) dedicates her life to overturning the murder conviction.

Convinced that her brother is innocent, Betty Anne puts herself through high school, college and law school in an 18-year quest to free Kenny.

With the help of best friend Abra Rice (Academy Award nominee Minnie Driver), Betty Anne pours through suspicious evidence mounted by small-town cop Nancy Taylor (Academy Award nominee Melissa Leo). She meticulously retraces the steps that led to Kenny’s arrest. Belief in her brother – and her quest for the truth – pushes Betty Anne and her team to uncover the facts and utilize DNA evidence with the hope of exonerating Kenny.

Conviction

Family is everything, I would do the same to clear and stand up for a family member. This brings peace of mind and love to a sister who believed and loves her brother. I would love to preview this movie, its sounds sooooo heartwarming.

Everything I could

I would do whatever I can to get a family member out as long as he or she is truly innocent.

Conviction

Can’t be measured, what I mean is the length that I would go can’t be measured because the same way a family member would be guilty or innocent has no length to be measured. If they are innocent they are innocent not a little or half way just innocent or guilty and I am going to attempt to exonerate totally not a little or half way but putting myself to the task with a conviction that is driven beyond what can be measured.

Freeing a family member

Since I have a close family, I would do whatever it took to help them. There are too many innocent people in correctional facilities right now who didn’t have the support they needed. I wouldn’t do that to my family.

To what length would you go to exonerate a family member of a mu

If the family member is innocent and I know it for a fact, I’d go as long as it takes because no one deserves to be in imprisonment for an error not just a family member, anyone.

Follow up comment to the one above*

If I were to receive tickets for both screenings of Jackass and Conviction, I would attend Conviction first as it’s at 7:30PM and it’s running time is 107min equaling approximately 2 hours and 7 mins. Right after that I would attend the Jackass premiere at 10PM.

If I believed in his/her

If I believed in his/her innocence, I like to think I would anything legally possible. One thing I would never do is give up.

Any

I think I will be willing to go above and beyond to exonerate a family member of murder. Think prison break, without the breaking out of jail scenario. Mike Scofield was smart, but took the wrong route….

If they were guilty, I wouldn’t go to any lengths to free them.

Sadly, I’m estranged from

Sadly, I’m estranged from most of my crazy family (long story) so for all I know some of them could be guilty as hell, and some certainly would be. But, if I were convinced they were innocent, I’d ask what was needed and use my expertise in various areas to help do what I could.
