CHICAGOThis HollywoodChicago.com Hookup is like none other. We have 25 admit-two passes to the advance screening of the new film “She’s Out of My League,” but we’re also throwing a red-carpet party with a 1.5-hour open bar for a viewing of “The Bachelor” wedding with former cast members!

Red-carpet HollywoodChicago.com event with Best Foot Forward and Reality TV Social

“She’s Out of My League” stars Jay Baruchel (“Knocked Up,” “Tropic Thunder”), Alice Eve, Krysten Ritter, Mike Vogel, Lindsay Sloane, Geoff Stults, Kim Shaw, Debra Jo Rupp, T.J. Miller, Jasika Nicole and Nate Torrence from director Jim Field Smith and writers Sean Anders and John Morris.

The red-carpet event is brought to you by HollywoodChicago.com, Best Foot Forward (a new, full-service dating concierge in Chicago) and Reality TV Social (which hosts reality TV-themed viewing parties). The celebration includes a complimentary champagne toast, hors d’oeuvres, Absolut and Maker’s Mark cocktails for the first hour and a half and more!

Here is the “She’s Out of My League” plot description:

In the comedy “She’s Out of My League,” Kirk (Jay Baruchel of “Knocked Up” and “Tropic Thunder”) is an average Joe who can’t believe his luck. Though he’s stuck in a seemingly dead-end job as an airport security agent, against all odds Molly (Alice Eve) – a successful and outrageously gorgeous babe – falls for him.

Kirk is stunned. So are his friends, his family and even his ex-girlfriend. Now he has to figure out how to make the relationship work even though he’d be the first to admit she’s totally out of his league.

The “She’s Out of My League” trailer can be watched now below.

TV, DVD, BLU-RAY & THEATER REVIEWS

  • Breaking Bad S5

CHICAGO – Sony knows that AMC’s “Breaking Bad” has one of the most loyal fan bases in television and so have released increasingly impressive Blu-ray and DVD season sets of the Emmy Award-winning program. The latest, the first half of the fifth season that aired in Summer 2012, comes with EIGHT HOURS of special features, including an exclusive scene, deleted scenes, and star-filled commentaries on every single episode. It’s one of the most impressive TV releases of the season for arguably the best show on TV.

  • Enter the Dragon

CHICAGO – When critics talk about the most influential films of the ’70s, they too often forget a little flick that became a phenomenon, Robert Clouse’s “Enter the Dragon,” recently released in a gorgeous box set with a new HD transfer, new special features, and new collectible items. Bruce Lee’s most beloved work still influences the Martial Arts genre today and gave birth to an entire cultural shift as cinema, particularly action films, became more influenced by Asian styles. The Blu-ray is a beauty with new special features about the making of and importance of “Dragon” that even those who have seen the flick a hundred times on cable will find enlightening.
