Coming this summer to a theatre near you, NMTC presents a new breed of evil: incompetence. In a season chock full of super hero riff-raff, Villains is the anti-superhero answer to your summer. Villains paints a vivid picture of the true life struggles of making it in a ‘Super-Fied’ world. It’s not all million dollar lasers and man eating viruses…it takes hard work, time, and dedication. And that’s where Jeff comes in; follow the adventures of this self proclaimed leader and his band of misfits: Slab, Lady Woman, The Fate, and Heat Conduction Man as they work to make a name for themselves. Do they have what it takes to steal the Blue Sheik Diamond from the Museum of Geological Discoveries before it leaves town forever? Or are they destined to trudge through the daily grind of their day jobs hoping for few minor misdemeanors. From the dynamic duo that brought you Manos: Rock Opera of Fate, citizens of the world beware…because Villains is coming to town.

Villains runs Fridays and Saturday nights at 10:00 pm, May 23 through June 21 at National Pastime Theater 4139 N. Broadway in Chicago. Advance tickets are $15 and can be purchased at www.nmtchicago.org or reserved by calling 312-458-9083. Villains is proudly sponsored by Amazing Fantasy Books and Comics, Graham Crackers Comics (Loop Location), G-Mart Comic Books, and Challengers Comics and Conversations.
