Many Film Events Associated with One Book, One Chicago

City of Chicago Announces Spring 2008 One Book, One Chicago
CHICAGO – Last week the City of Chicago and the Chicago Public Library named its Spring 2008 title choice for its One Book, One Chicago citywide reading program. It is ‘The Long Goodbye’ by Raymond Chandler.
Besides encouraging the citizens of Chicago to read the book and participate in discussions, the public library also announced several film lectures and screenings in association with the choice.
