CHICAGO (February 29, 2008) – Broadway In Chicago is proud to announce tickets for the U.S. premiere of the international stage hit Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage will go on-sale to the general public Friday, April 4. The National Tour of Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage will open during a limited engagement in Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph St.) with a revised performance schedule beginning September 28 through December 7, 2008.

Individual tickets for Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage range in price from $35 - $95 and will be available to the general public starting April 4, 2008. A limited number of premium tickets will be available ranging in price from $125 - $150. Tickets are available at Broadway In Chicago Box Offices (18 W. Monroe, 24 W. Randolph St. and 151 W. Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage is produced by Jacobsen Entertainment, in association with Lionsgate and Magic Hour Productions, and written by Eleanor Bergstein, writer and co-producer of the phenomenally successful movie.

Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage is a coming of age love story involving the talented and headstrong dancer Johnny Castle and Frances “Baby” Houseman. During her family’s summer vacation at the popular Kellerman’s resort, Baby, a doctor’s daughter with dreams of joining the Peace Corps, meets Johnny, the guy from the wrong side of the tracks. Against all odds, they fall in love, learning life-changing lessons along the way.

Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage, follows the highs and lows of their summer romance. The original story of Dirty Dancing has been expanded for the stage.
