Chicago singles speed date with the stars of Eizzil Entertainment and Rockstone Releasing’s “Speed-Dating” Movie during the red carpet premiere on June 1st at Chicago’s ICE Theaters

Beverly Hills, CA, May 21, 2010 – Power 92 will promote and host a celebrity event during the Red-Carpet Premiere of Speed-Dating at Chicago’s ICE Theaters Chatham 14 on Tuesday, June 1st. The event will be organized by HurryDate®, the leading speed dating event company, and participants will go on multiple mini-dates, some of which will be with cast members from the award winning feature-length romantic comedy, which opens in limited release on June 4th.

During the premiere movie screening and speed dating event, daters not only get a free pass to see the movie, but an opportunity to meet like-minded singles through five minute speed dates while enjoying drink specials courtesy of Hennessey Black. Daters will also have the chance to mingle with celebrities from the film.

“Speed dating is a growing trend in our community so it made sense for us to partner with HurryDate to build the awareness of the film as we prepare for our release in two-weeks, ” stated Chicago native Mekita Faiye, who not only stars in SPEED-DATING, but is also a producer on the movie.

Bill Daily, better known as Major Roger Healey (“I Dream of Jeannie”) and the wacky neighbor Howard Borden (“The Bob Newhart Show”) died at his New Mexico home at the age of 91 on September 4th, 2018.
