Midwest Independent Film Festival Presents 'In the Family'
Submitted by PatrickMcD on May 27, 2008 - 11:21am.First Tuesdays with The Midwest Independent Film Festival continue with the powerful autobiographical documentary In the Family, screening on Tuesday, June 3rd at Landmark’s Century Centre Cinema, beginning at 6 p.m. A question-and-answer session will follow with writer/director Joanna Rudnick, producer Beth Iams, editor Leslie Simmer and executive producer and Kartemquin founder Gordon Quinn.
General admission is $10 and includes entry into all of the evening’s festivities, which includes…The Producers’ Panel, held in the theatre at 6:30 p.m.; this month’s topic is “Opportunities for Independent Filmmakers in New Media.” Writer/director Joanna Rudnick will be in attendance as In the Family screens promptly at 7:30 p.m. Post-screening reception generously hosted by Forno Diablo, 433 West Diversey.
