Midwest Independent Film Festival Presents 'In the Family'

First Tuesdays with The Midwest Independent Film Festival continue with the powerful autobiographical documentary In the Family, screening on Tuesday, June 3rd at Landmark’s Century Centre Cinema, beginning at 6 p.m. A question-and-answer session will follow with writer/director Joanna Rudnick, producer Beth Iams, editor Leslie Simmer and executive producer and Kartemquin founder Gordon Quinn.

General admission is $10 and includes entry into all of the evening’s festivities, which includes…The Producers’ Panel, held in the theatre at 6:30 p.m.; this month’s topic is “Opportunities for Independent Filmmakers in New Media.” Writer/director Joanna Rudnick will be in attendance as In the Family screens promptly at 7:30 p.m. Post-screening reception generously hosted by Forno Diablo, 433 West Diversey.
